Taiwan election: Tsai Ing-wen elected first female president


Taiwan’s cardinal affair has conceded defeat in the island's presidential elections as action baton Tsai Ing-wen has been adopted the island’s aboriginal woman president. Ms Tsai, arch of the action Democratic Progressive Affair (DPP) recorded added than 4,655,000 votes while Eric Chu of the cardinal Nationalists or Kuomintang (KMT) had 2,614,000 votes.
